Brescia marathon route passes through the heart of the city. The Starting point will be in the historical center, a few hundred meters from the Arrival point at the beautiful Piazza Loggia. According to the current Italian Federation of Athletics instruction, at the Starting phase participants will be divided in one or more waves. The route climbs north ward, close to the university and the municipal stadium area, it continues towards the west part and goes back into the beautiful historical center, crossing the museum area, the Roman Forum, Broletto Palace, Cathedral Square and finally ends in Piazza Loggia. Many stretches are on the new cycling paths that are making Brescia become a more Green city. The 5th edition of the KPMG Lentemarathon will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2024. All distances start and finish in the city center. You run through the green surroundings of Amstelveen: The AMsterdamse Bos, Oude Dorp, the polders, along the Amstel River, and through the various districts. Daegu is one of Korea’s top three cities and an international sports city. In particular, it was selected as the world’s second international track and field city after Stuttgart, Germany, when it held the World Athletics Championships Daegu 2011, It is an international sports city, such as the successful hosting of the  World Masters Athletics Championships Indoor Daegu 2017 and the hosting of the World Masters Athletics Championships Daegu 2026 The Daegu Marathon has been holding label competitions certified by the World Athletics Federation since 2013. It is Korea’s representative sports festival, with 16,000 elite athletes and masters hobbyists participating every year. In addition, the world’s best prize money will be paid at the competition held on April 7, 2024. The prize money for the first place is $160,000. Arctic Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k by Santa Claus, takes you to the most authentic of Finnish Lapland. The race starts from Father Christmas’ village square in Rovaniemi, where the exact Arctic Circle line is located. The race takes place between semi-urban areas combined with coniferous forest and the crossing of some frozen river. A total of 14.800 runners, aged 9-85 years, flooded the streets of Thessaloniki and Macedonia, lived a unique experience, won the applause of many fans and sent a message of fitness and health, through an event that has also social, cultural, environmental, touristic and historic character. An event that since 2006 is “joining” Pella with Thessaloniki and displays throughout the world the name of Alexander the Great.
