Brescia marathon route passes through the heart of the city. The Starting point will be in the historical center, a few hundred meters from the Arrival point at the beautiful Piazza Loggia. According to the current Italian Federation of Athletics instruction, at the Starting phase participants will be divided in one or more waves. The route climbs north ward, close to the university and the municipal stadium area, it continues towards the west part and goes back into the beautiful historical center, crossing the museum area, the Roman Forum, Broletto Palace, Cathedral Square and finally ends in Piazza Loggia. Many stretches are on the new cycling paths that are making Brescia become a more Green city.
The route is safe guarded and protected by hundreds of volunteers and also by a huge deployment of law enforcement that control the most crucial parts.
