You’ll enjoy a mainly flat, fast course, starting in the centre of the town, opposite Shakespeare’s old school, taking in sights such as the River Avon, Holy Trinity Church (home to the grave of William Shakespeare) and the Royal Shakespeare Theatres. The race is often described as a flat and fast coastal marathon. The course takes runners along the Blackpool seafront past the many sights, including Golden Mile, St Annes and Lytham. It is very popular with runners looking to achieve a PB. The race starts in Blackpool. From there runners head south to Lytham st Annes where they turn and run back towards Cleveleys before turning south again. The Blue Cross Broad Street Run has been a proud Philadelphia tradition for over 40 years. On May 3, 2020, racers will run down the heart of Philadelphia, Broad Street, through diverse communities and neighborhoods, while excited spectators cheer from the sidelines. It’s the largest, fastest, and most popular 10-mile race in the country drawing more than 35,000 participants from all over the world. Each year, Spokane is host to the beautiful Bloomsday Run, presented by the Lilac Bloomsday Association. This year marks the 44th year of this event, taking place 9am to 1:30pm on Sunday, May 3. The 7.46-mile course is family friendly and open to all runners, walkers, wheelchairs, assisted wheelchairs and strollers. The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is one of the leading marathons in the UK and Ireland and is an AIMS certified race. The race will start at Stormont at 9am and finish in Ormeau Park. It will follow the same route as the Wheelchair Race and the Team Relay Event. Known as “The Tough One” the Three Forts Marathon (approximately 27.2 miles) includes a total of c. 3450 ft of climb with stiles and rough tracks underfoot. The route runs northwards from Hill Barn to Cissbury Ring, then eastwards towards Coombs then to Botolphs and the River Adur crossing. The route then goes to Devil’s Dyke and back to the River Adur. It continues on the South Downs Way to Chanctonbury Ring, where it swings south-west to Findon Park Farm. It stays on public bridleways to Cissbury Ring and back to Hill Barn. The Half Marathon, with a total climb of c.1450 takes a shorter route to Steyning Bowl and picks up the last part of the Marathon route. The map shows the route in more detail and can be used in conjunction with the appropriate OS map. The routes will be clearly sign posted and marshals will be placed at key places. In addition there are 8 Aid Stations spaced along the route providing refreshments and support to entrants.
