Parma Marathon was born in 2015 with the precise desire to replicate a NY-style running event in a city like Parma. Seriously, the work has been a lot and right from the start the quality has differentiated our event from many others that are expressed in the same sector. Obviously we can say it today, after a few editions and after listening to the participants who have wanted to be with us in recent years. 2024 coincides with the 8th Edition. An intense journey but still very, very long if we compare ourselves to events that have much more prestige than ours. The Marathon is the main element of our races to which we have also added other distances. Parma is the Italian capital of Food and Opera. Known throughout the world for Parma Ham, for Parmigiano Reggiano, for the composer and maestro Giuseppe Verdi, in October it dresses up to welcome, among its important monuments, thousands of Runners who choose to participate in the PARMA MARATHON.
