Both the Malta Marathon and Half Marathon are held in accordance to the World Athletic Technical and Competition regulations. All times are recognised and accepted by prestigous marathons, such as Boston, Berlin, Comrades, etc, etc,. The Malta Marathon is a near-miracle, taking place on a tiny island of only 122 square miles. The 2020 Malta Marathon was once again held after the 2019 Malta Marathon was forced to be cancelled due to the unthinkable happened. The 2019 was cancelled for the first time in 34 years when a storm, the like of which was never seen in Malta, stuck on marathon day. Then came Covid and the 2021 and 2022 Malta Marathon was not held but in 2023 the Malta Marathon was back to continue the legacy that started in 1986. The Malta Marathon & Half Marathon routes have changed many times over the years since the inaugural Malta Marathon which was held in 1986. Faster and less traffic congested roads have always been sought, hence the changes. Brescia marathon route passes through the heart of the city. The Starting point will be in the historical center, a few hundred meters from the Arrival point at the beautiful Piazza Loggia. According to the current Italian Federation of Athletics instruction, at the Starting phase participants will be divided in one or more waves. The route climbs north ward, close to the university and the municipal stadium area, it continues towards the west part and goes back into the beautiful historical center, crossing the museum area, the Roman Forum, Broletto Palace, Cathedral Square and finally ends in Piazza Loggia. The 5th edition of the KPMG Lentemarathon will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2024. All distances start and finish in the city center. You run through the green surroundings of Amstelveen: The AMsterdamse Bos, Oude Dorp, the polders, along the Amstel River, and through the various districts. A picturesque, circular route around Northamptonshire with support from the local running community. 54 miles of country trails, roads and towpaths. 2024 sees the fifth edition of this epic race taking in the beauty of Northamptonshire’s villages, forests, canals and country parks.  This is a fully tracked and interactive race TWe are excited to give you another opportunity to enjoy this race in a fantastic central location, with a single loop making for easy planning and logistics. The route takes in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside with two country parks, Salcey Forest, the Grand Union Canal and 21 pretty villages and towns following parts of the Nene Way, the Midshires Way and the Northampton Round. There are 6 checkpoints at 6 to 8 mile intervals.
